Call for Papers

KSCSTE-CWRDM, CGWB, NITC, AGGS and GEOFORUM invite you to Kozhikode during February 17-20, 2020 and present your work either through oral or poster presentation as well as to join for one day Pre-Conference workshop (17th February) on ‘Groundwater Modeling’.

GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Step 1: Register for the conference (Submission menu ->Signup/Register)
Step 2: Login with email id/username and password entered in registration form (The username and password will also be sent to registered email id).
Step 3: For participation only category, fill the payment details in the dashboard after signing in.
Step 4: For Presentation category (Oral and Poster), Submit abstract and fill the Payment details through the menu after signing in.
Step 5: For Abstract submission click on the New Abstract button.
Step 6: Enter Paper Title, Abstract main text and Keywords in the space provided.
Step 7: Select the theme of the paper from the Topic on the right side tab.
Step 8 : Enter the author name and affiliation on the right side tab. Click on the + button to add more authors.
Step 9: Also attach the word (.doc) template of the Abstract in the attachment section shown below.
Step 10: Click on Submit button.
Step 11: Authors can modify the abstract till the submission deadline.
Step 12: Message will be sent to registered email id of authors automatically after abstract submission.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee based on the scope / theme of INGWC-2020 and will be classified as ORAL or POSTER presentation. Acceptance will be communicated by 1st November 2019.
Authors will have to submit full manuscripts of the paper(s) (with original figures, if any) to the Conference Secretariat by 15th December 2019. Necessary instructions regarding preparation of the manuscript(s) will be sending along with the acceptance and author(s) are requested to submit the final text in electronic form (CD).

VISA requirements for Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals are advised to contact the Indian Embassy / High Commission / Consulate in their country in order to obtain a visa for entry into India. Please apply for your visa in good time. The conference organizers will be happy to provide invitation letter, after you are registered for the conference, to facilitate your visa application.

Foreign passengers should ensure that they are in possession of valid Indian Visa before they start their journey to India.

Passport and VISA requirements

You are advised to contact the Indian Embassy / High Commission / Consulate in your country in order to obtain a visa for entry into India. Please apply for your visa in good time. Your travel agent may also be able to help you.

VISA Application Form

Visa application form is available at the Indian Mission in the country where the applicant resides. Visa form for nationals of Pakistan and Bangladesh are generally different. Persons of Indian Origins and Non-Resident Indians who possess either OCI (Overseas Indian Citizenship) or PIO card don’t need to apply separately for an Indian Visa. OCI and PIO cards give them the freedom to visit India without visa within rules. However, those NRIs and PIOs who don’t have OCI or PIO card can apply for and get Indian visa.

VISA application requirements:

• Original passport valid for at least 6 months
• Duly completed application form (Nationals of Pakistan and Bangladesh must complete special application forms)
• Two passport-size photographs. (Nationals of Pakistan will require five)
• Visa fee
• Supporting documents, where necessary
• Stamped self-addressed delivery envelope for postal applications
• Invitation letter: Letters of invitation from the organizer of the conference in India.
• Applicable VISA

Visa Type: Conference Visa (Valid for any person attending Conference in India) Period : For the duration of the conference or seminar

Additional information form:

Applicants from Afghanistan, China, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan, foreigners of Pakistani origin and Stateless persons should fill out the Additional information form.

Important Information:

As per Government of India rules, the visa process is different for nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Srilanka, Southern Sudan, Northern Sudan and foreigners of Pakistan origin. For delegates from these countries, the visa application process remains the same, but the conference organizers need to provide names and other information (like passport number, father’s name, etc.) to the relevant ministry in India, which will inform the Consulate suitably. Visas will be issued only after the Consulate has obtained clearance from the ministry.
